ENFP Superpowers Part Deux – The Return Of Your Awesomeness
“There are more superpowers that you have, but don’t KNOW you actually have.”
ENFP Superpowers Continued – Yes, There Are More!
You’ve asked for it…
You’ve waited for it…
And here it is: More ENFP superpowers!
Apparently, my last video I did on ENFP superpowers is really well-loved and has brought a lot of happiness to people to discover some superpowers they had, but did not know they actually had.
Click here for Part 1 to read about those first two ENFP superpowers I covered.
So I filmed another video on some more ENFP superpowers that have been somewhat recently discovered by me.
The things that I was aware of in some kinds of context, but did not realize their overall global occasions.
These are the ENFP traits that can be super helpful for you, especially if you’re an entrepreneur or involved in small teams or kind of entrepreneurial companies, but it’s also useful just across the board.
ENFP Superpower #3: Enthusiastic Instigator
The first of the superpowers I want to discuss here is our ability to get excited about something, to get fired up about a new project…
…or new people…
or possibilities with what something could become.
When starting out in a team or/and when we’re working on a project, we’re the ones who get so excited and that actually has a huge effect on pushing everything forward.
We don’t always realize this because we’re always part of every team – kind of how the world works, but a lot of the times people are quite slow.
People take their time and when getting things started, they want to come up with an elaborate plan before they take any action.
Not ENFPs.
ENFPs want to dive in.
We want to make things happen.
We’re excited to take action, to turn our emotions and turn possibilities into something tangible.
So because of that we’re something that’s called an instigator or just an action-creator type of person in a team or within our own business.
We get to push things forward and that is really valuable because that energy can then move everyone else along, so it’s not just us moving forward quickly, but it’s bringing everyone else along with us.
ENFP Superpower #4: Efficient Improviser
Another one of the ENFP superpowers I think we have is the ability to get things done pretty quickly.
Not always done the best way per se in terms of dotting every i and crossing every t, but we have the ability to kind of fix it.
Like MacGyver – he’d get enough of a solution to get something done.
It’s kind of how we do it.
And my theory is that ENFPs – we’ve often been doing things maybe last minute, maybe a little bit late and so we get really good at finding shortcuts, ways to just get to the result.
Here’s what I want to be.
Here’s where I am.
What’s the quickest way to get there?
And that’s how we approach things long term.
We are not the ones to build out a structure for 1,000 person business.
We are not the ones to come up with fire safety plans for buildings, but if there was a fire and there was no fire safety plan for the building, we’d probably be the best people at impact, providing and figuring out how the heck we get out of that building in time before the fire thing happens.
So that is something that’s really cool in the early stage of a business or a project where you have this goal – I’ve launched products or created things in times like that.
Other people would maybe, maybe come up with a plan at most.
All because of this ability to find out what’s the outcome ultimately and how to get there quickly, figuring out shortcuts and bringing things together.
So if you do have that talent, do not undervalue it.
Just remember that long term you’re going to want to supplement that talent with people who are good at creating plans, writing out all the details and figuring that out.
Because when you’re a small business or you’re just starting a project that works really well long term, you’re probably going to want some extra help in terms of building out more of those details.
So we’ve got those first two: We get excited, we get those around us excited and bring that emotion. And we are able to get things done pretty quickly and see the quickest way to get where we want to go.
ENFP Superpower #5: Badass Motivator
There’s one last thing we do, which is so well-suited for this combination as 1-2-3 punch.
And that is – we’re able to instill confidence in those around us, in people themselves.
So you’re on a team, right…
Imagine you’re on a team now, maybe you’re the boss, maybe it’s your company, or maybe it’s a part of another company. It doesn’t really matter.
Maybe you’re the Mighty Ducks.
And it’s 1995 and he’s going for the Stanley Cup.
It doesn’t really matter, you’re part of this team and you’ve been able to get people fired up to what’s possible, but if they don’t believe in themselves, and they don’t believe in the team and their ability to make it happen, none of the rest is going to matter.
You’ll get them all fired up, and then you’ll just be putting pressure on them to take action, but they’ll be freezing up.
Fortunately, as an ENFP, you have this ability to instill confidence both in yourself and sometimes we instill confidence in people where we really don’t have a clue what we’re doing.
We just get confident enough about it that they believe in us.
But I think much more valuable, much more important for the people around us is our ability to instill confidence in other people.
The same way we see possibilities in a project, we see what could happen, like: Okay, it’s this now, but it could be this! – we see that in people.
We look at someone and we see what they could achieve, what they are capable of and we tend to focus on their best traits and then the possibilities of that.
And because we see that in other people we’re able to help them see it in themselves and help them have the confidence that they can do more, that they can follow through, that they can whatever it is they want to do.
That is super cool.
Now you’ve got the ability to see possibilities, to get excited and get those around you emotional and pushing things forward – the instigator that is so, so valuable in any kind of project, any kind of business.
Then you’ve got the ability to find the best way in the short term to do things to actually get the ball rolling so you see results, so you get the momentum, so you get more excitement.
And then we have the ability to get those around us feel confident to believe in themselves and believing the team that they can actually make things happen.
Put all those together and we might be – may be – the ultimate entrepreneur personality in terms of the early stages.
We’re probably not going to build out an elaborate 10,000 person company, but we might just be that force that gets things started for the first couple of years before we bring in a partner, someone else to help complement things.
